This CG model was produced in 2004. The concept demonstrated shows individual electrical motors in each wheel sphere. Steer by wire with battery located in car floor, creating an opulant, spacious feeling within the cabin. In steering controls may be unsafe though.
Also, in 2006 I was able to prototype this model 
at 1/16th scale as assistant instructor at Long Beach City College.
